B-17F The Sad Sack

B-17F The Sad Sack served with the 91st Bombardment Group. She survived to return to the United States in March 1943 to become a training aircraft.

A good oral history of the first two years of the Eighth Air Force, from the attack on Pearl Harbor and the formation of the Eighth to July 1943 and Blitz Week.
