Lt. General S. F. Rowell

Lt. General S. F. Rowell served in Libya, Greece and Syria during 1941, then became Deputy Chief of General Staff at Army HQ, Melbourne. He then moved to New Guinea, and commanded New Guinea Force during the first part of the battle of the Kokoda Trail.
