Here we see four members of a Sikh Regiment in the British Indian Army. At the left and right are two Havildars, the equivilent of sergeants. Second in line, facing the camera, is a Niak, or corporal. Third in line is a Subedar, or captain, identified from this angle by the cuff bars.
