Pipe Bomb

A simple explosive device normally consisting of a short length of pipe or similar material packed with a homemade explosive and items designed to cause shrapnel injuries such as broken glass, rusty nails and metal fragments. The pipe contains the force of the blast and enhanced the effect of the device. This type of terrorist weapons was made famous by the terrorist known as the Unibomber in the USA.
