USS Aulick (DD-569) underway, February 1944
Here we see the Fletcher class destroyer USS Aulick (DD-569) underway in February 1944, when she was serving with the Fleet Operational Training Command at San Francisco, after having to return from the Pacific theatre to have her engines repaired aftger she hit a coral reef off New Caledonia while moving at 20 knots.
