Here we see the Columbia class protected class USS Columbia (C-12) in the Philadelphia Navy Yard Dry Dock in December 1919, when she was serving as flagship of Squadron 2, Destoyer Force, Atlantic Fleet. The Columbia class were the first US warships to use three screws, two of which can be seen here.
