Crew Sunbathing, USS Connecticut (BB-18), 1900s
Here we see some of the crew and marines of the Connecticut class battleship USS Connecticut (BB-18) sunbathing on the forecastle at some point early in her career. The picture can be dated to this period by the base of the military mast just seen at the very top, meaning this was taken before she was given cage masts.
