F-4B Phantom II readied for launch, USS Coral Sea (CVA-43)
Here we see a McDonnell Douglas F-4B Phantom being prepared for a catapult launch from the Midway class aircraft carrier USS Coral Sea (CVA-43) in the Gulf of Tonkin on 20 December 1969. This was during the Coral Sea's fifth tour of duty off Vietnam
