Baka and Ki-67 Peggy on USS Core (CVE-13)
Here we see a Yokosuka MXY-7 Ohka 'Baka' suicide plane and a Mitsubishi Ki-67 Peggy on the deck of the Bogue class escort carrier USS Core (CVE-13) on 21 November 1945. They were part of a deck of Japanese booty being transfered back to the US. The Ohka is an example of the Model 43 K-I Wakazakura (Young Cherry), a two man training version.
