USS Galveston (C-17) on Manila Bay Target Range, 1916
Here we see the Denver class protected cruiser USS Galveston (C-17) on the target range in Manila Bay in May 1916. Note the two rear casemate guns pointing out from the side of the ship, ready to fire. The bow area is crowded with crew members all watching the guns fire.
