Kaiser Wilhelm II leaves USS Kearsarge (BB-5), 1903
Here we see Kaiser Wilhelm II leaving the Kearsarge class battleship USS Kearsarge (BB-5) after a lunch onboard at Kiel on 25 June 1903. Two weeks later, on 13 July, the Prince of Wales (later George V) would make the same trip, although in his case the ship was moored alongside the harbour at Portsmouth.
