Here we see the view aft from the forecastle of the Maine class battleship USS Maine (BB-10) c.1903-5, looking past the forward 12in gun turret towards the bridge. From here we can see the enclosed lower bridge and open upper bridge, and three levels of bridge ings, with the lower two both carrying small guns.
