USS Maury (DD-401) rescuing crashed airmen
Here we see the crew of the Gridley class destroyer USS Maury (DD-401) rescuing Ensign Edward B. Holley, Jr, John M. Gosney and Dale E. Shouse after their Grumman TBF-1 Avenger crashed into the sea after taking off from USS Enterprise (CV-6) on 27 August 1942.
