Triple Expansion Engines for USS Milwaukee (C-21), 1904
Here we see the two triple expansion engines that were installed in the St Louis class protected cruiser USS Milwaukee (C-21), at the Union Iron Work, San Francisco in December 1904, three months after the ship had been launched.
