Paravane Skeg, USS Missouri (BB-11), 1918
Here we see a paravane skeg that has been added below the ram bow of the Maine class battleship USS Missouri (BB-11), to allow the use of an minesweeping paravane from the battleship. The picture was taken in the Philadelphia Dry Dock on 27 October 1918.
