USS Northampton (CLC-1) at Sea
Here we see the Baltimore class command and control ship/ heavy cruiser USS Northampton (CLC-1) at sea. She was laid down as a heavy cruiser
but completed as a command and control ship. In order to provide extra space for the command staff she was given a much larger forward superstructure with two levels of working space, behind the large rows of curved windows seen here.
