Starboard Gun Deck, USS Olympia (C-5), 1899
Here we see the view looking aft along the starboard gun deck of the protected cruiser USS Olympia (C-6), with the ships' galley to the right. The breech end of two of her guns can be seen on the left. The picture was taken soon after she had returned to the US after serving as Admiral Dewey's flagship at the battle of Manila Bay of 1898
