Target Practice on Aft Deck, USS Raleigh (C-8)
Here we see target practice being carried out on the aft deck of the Cincinnati class cruiser USS Raleigh (C-8) in 1905. She carried two of her 5in guns on that deck, and the rest on the gun deck.
