Target Practice on Gun Deck, USS Raleigh (C-8)
Here we see target practice being carried out on the gun deck of the Cincinnati class cruiser USS Raleigh (C-8), where she carried eight of her 5in guns. These may have been amongst the smaller naval guns, but as we can see they still fired a sizable shell.
