USS Rochester (CA-124) after refit, 1953
Here we see the Baltimore class heavy cruiser USS Rochester (CA-124) leaving the Mare Island Shipyard on 20 September 1953 after an overhaul in which her 40mm guns were repalced with 3"/50 twin automatic guns.
