Alternative Design Three for USS Virginia (BB-13)
Here we see the third of three alternative designs for the Virginia Class battleship USS Virginia (BB-13). This version lacked the 8in guns and superimposed 12in/ 8in turrets of the actual ships and instead would have carried six 7in guns in casemates, with 6in guns on the deck below.
