Here we see a Dido class cruiser taking part in a bombardment of the Libyan coast at some point during the Second World War.
This is one of the first or second batch of Dido class cruisers, which were completed with five twin 5.25in gun turrets. Later ships were armed with four twin 4,5in guns because of a shortage of the 5.25in guns.
