Douglas DC-3B/ C-49D (1 of 4)

Here we see a Douglas DC-3B, a version of the Dakota that had a sleeper cabin at the front and a normal passenger cabin at the rear. The front cabin had two upper windows on each side. This aircraft, NC 17313, was taken into USAAF service as a Douglas C-49D.
