HMS Kestrel from the left

Here we see the C class destroyer HMS Kestrel, apparently taken while she was serving with the First World War Dover Patrol. However her service record suggests that she spent most of the war with the Nore Local Defence flotilla, then moved to the Irish Sea in 1918, without ever officially serving with the Dover Patrol.
