HMS Lion from the left
Here we see the Lion class battlecruiser HMS Lion from the left. Externally she looks very similar to the battleships of the period, with superfiring 13.5in guns, and a tripod mast carrying the bridge platforms, but she carried one turret less than the Iron Duke class battleships and sacrificed armour to give her more speed.
