Home Guard Fourth Anniversary Parade, 14 May 1944
Here we see King George VI taking the salute at the fourth anniverssary parade of the Home Guard on 14 May 1944. The column took 45 minutes to march past the saluting base, at the Cavalry Memorial, Stanhope Gate, Hyde Park.
