US Artillerymen attack near Cherbourg
This rather obvious staged photograph is meant to show a group of US artillerymen attacking as infantry to mop up some German troops who were preventing them from placing their artillery where they wanted during the battle for Cherbourg. However this field was clearly the site of a battle.
