Undercarriage of Vickers Warwick

Here we see a member of the RAF standing under a Vickers Warwick. This may be an aircraft of No.293 Squadron, which operated the type in Italy, as it comes from the collection of a member of that squadron. The aircraft can be identified by the engine type, partly enclosed wheels (note the cut-out in the wheel covers) and the relationship between the rear of the nacelle and the wing.

This picture comes from the collection of Jim Tucker, who served with No.293 Squadron. Many thanks to his son-in-law Roger Bruton for sending us these pictures.
