Zuiho sinking, 25 October 1944
Here we see the Japanese carrier Zuiho sinking during the battle of Cape Engano (25 October 1944), part of the wider Battle of Leyte Gulf. By this point her bow is very close to the water, a result of the progressive flooding that eventually sank her.
