Plan of bows section of main deck, USS Ohio (BB-12)
Here we see a plan of the bows section of the main deck of the Maine class battleship USS Ohio (BB-12). To the left we see the forward armour of the superstructure and the armour protecting the workings of the forward 12in turret. The forward area was largely filled with crew quarters, with mess tables around the turret and the crew wash room and WCs in the bows.
